I remember gas in the 25 cent range. I remember my dad fussing about spending a little less than 20 bucks for groceries for a family of five. That included 2 cartons of Winston cigarettes. Those were the stinkingest cigarettes on the market.

And a small ice cream cone was a nickel, licorice was 2 sticks for a penny, miss those days.

I remember every one of them - the metal ice cube trays with the handle were the absolute best.
