In a time where apparently a person deciding to call themselves a woman is enough to be defined as a one, the definition, meaning and essence of what it means to be a woman has been lost in the discourse. Nothing will erase the quality of womanhood more than our inability to define it. We cannot define woman without first understanding why woman was made. God said it wasn't good for man to be alone. So God made him a helper suitable for his needs. When God made woman He made her to be all that was lacking in man. Woman was made for man. She can't be, and never will be like men. She is all that he isn't and can't be. Womanhood will never be something you can wear, it will never be something you can become, it will never be something you can put on. Womanhood, is a gift from God *First* we were created to provide relationship, God created us to provide companionship to man. This is why women love to connect, we love to talk, we earn to be understood and connected. Language for us women, isn't about solution finding (this is man's nature), for us is to created connections and relationship. The curses given to women in genesis further illustrate this, all of them are related to relationships with her children and her husband. *Second*, women want to nurture. Even our bodies are designed for this very purpose. Our breasts were designed to nurture our precious babies, to feed them and provide comfort. Our uterus was made to grow our children, warm and safe, wrapped in the most loving embrace only a woman could ever provide. The safety of her own body, the sacrifice of her own body, to give another life. Nothing illustrates more the very nature of woman than this, the transforming of our bodies to bring forth a life. *Third* we were created for our husbands, to serve, honor and submit to them. All that you are was perfectly designed to fulfill and fit the needs of your husband. Now, most people, hate this very idea. They think that serving a man is beneath them, makes them second class to men. This isn't true. The nature of a Christian is first and foremost a servant. It's a blessing to be created with a purpose to help man in the tasks God gave him. Of course the cultural norm nowadays is that women are independent, they don't need a man and they never will. This of course is a lie. We were created incomplete, only one man and one woman can become one Womanhood is a blessing. It's good to be a woman, in fact it's wonderful. If God made you a woman, accept it, embrace it, use it for His glory.
