Estonian President Alar Karis has signed a law on the confiscation of frozen Russian assets in favor of Ukraine, ERR reports. The law will allow the assets to be used to compensate for war damage.
However, the property will be taken away if it is proved to be involved or linked to military aggression or violation of the rules of war. Being subject to international sanctions alone will not be a sufficient reason to alienate property.
