2021 child is reported missing as a result of Russia's war against Ukraine:broken_heart:
"The disappearance of a child is a tragedy not only for parents but for the whole country. After all, children are our future. Unfortunately, with the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war, this problem has become even more painful for us: illegal deportations, abductions of children by Russians, chaos in the temporarily occupied territories.
All this only exacerbates the problem and increases the number of missing children,"
- said Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets on the International Day of Missing Children.

"Зникнення дитини - це трагедія не лише для батьків, а й для всієї країни. Адже діти - це наше майбутнє. На жаль, з початком російсько-української війни ця проблема стала для нас ще більш болючою: незаконні депортації, викрадення дітей росіянами, хаос на тимчасово окупованих територіях.
Все це лише загострює проблему та збільшує кількість зниклих безвісти дітей"
- заявив Омбудсмен Дмитро Лубінець у Міжнародний день зниклих безвісти дітей.
