One of the islands we visited had no predators so the critters native to the island had no fear of humans. Lizards, iguanas, birds… they never ran from us and often came to see what we were all about. Put some seed in the palm of you hand and you had ‘takers’ within minutes. Leslie and Bill were one of a handful of people who lived on the island. They built their home with a huge veranda and we also enjoyed spending time with them when we passed their way
