Today we bid farewell to Denis Zeleny, call sign "Hephaestus". He was an officer of the Operational Planning Section of the Khoriv Battalion of the Bureviy National Guard Brigade. Denis stood up to defend the country from the first day of a full-scale invasion in 2022.
Before joining the army, he worked as a manager at honey_cafe.
Denis volunteered for the National Guard of Ukraine and carried out combat missions near Lysychansk, Sievierodonetsk, Bakhmut, Bilohorivka and in the Serebryansky Forest, where he took a unique photo of the Serebryansky Botanical Reserve in the Luhansk region, which was destroyed by the Russians.
His friends and family describe him as a true warrior and a man who lit hearts with love of life.
