Never? Again... When people talk about war, they mean not only tank battles with enemy towers blown up. Not only about the enchanting practice of artillery on enemy infantry. It is also about human lives. It seemed that the world would never allow killings like those of the Second World War. But it happened again in Bucha, Irpen, in the East and South of our country. We thought that the world would never allow torture again. But no: we see Azovstal and what happens to Ukrainian soldiers after captivity. Perhaps the world should never have allowed the destruction of peaceful cities. But no: Mariupol, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Maryinka. How could the countries of the free world allow this to happen in the center of Europe? Never? Again... 85 years ago, politicians used to throw pieces of food to a tiger and hope that the beast would stop. But the only thing an angry animal wants is to taste live meat. And when that moment comes, you have to use weapons before it's too late. Today, it is Ukraine that is stopping an angry beast that is rushing towards Europe. And the only thing we ask is to help us with weapons. We need missiles to stop the pandemic, we need a vaccine in the form of air defense systems and heavy equipment to prevent the spread of this virus. We are fighting not only for our country. We are fighting for peace in Europe. For the peace that was achieved 79 years ago. We are doing this to protect our home, to protect Europe. We are fighting, and thanks to this, Germans, French, Hungarians and the rest of Europe read about Nazism only in the news and history books. Ukraine is ready to continue the fight. But we need weapons. That is why we are now in Germany discussing the importance of long-range missiles and other weapons. We defeated Nazism, we will defeat racism! Petro Poroschenko Ніколи? Знову… Коли говорять про війну, то це не тільки про танкові бої з відірваними ворожими баштами. Це не тільки про феєричне відпрацювання артилерії по ворожій піхоті. Це й про людські життя. Здавалося, що світ ніколи не допустить вбивств, подібних до тих, що були під час Другої світової. Але знову це відбувалося в Бучі, Ірпені, на Сході та Півдні нашої країни. Ми вважали, що ніколи світ більше не допустить катувань. Але ж ні: ми бачимо «Азовсталь» і те, що відбувається з українськими військовими після полону. Можливо, світ мав ніколи не допустити знищення мирних міст. Але ж ні: Маріуполь, Бахмут, Авдіївка, Марʼїнка. Хіба країни Вільного Світу могли допустити таке в центрі Європи? Ніколи? Знову… 85 років тому політики кидали тигру шматки їжі і сподівалося, що звір зупиниться. Але єдине, чого хоче оскаженіла тварина — це спробувати живого мʼяса. І коли настає цей момент, треба використовувати зброю, доки не стало запізно. Сьогодні саме Україна спиняє скажену тварину, що рветься в Європу. І єдине, чого ми просимо, — допомогти нам зі зброєю. Нам потрібні ракети, щоб спинити пандемію, потрібна вакцина у вигляді ППО і важка техніка, щоб не дати розповсюдитися цьому вірусу. Ми боремося не лише за нашу країну. Ми боремося за мир у Європі. За мир, якого досягли 79 років тому. Ми робимо це, щоб захистити свій дім, захистити Європу. Ми боремося, і завдяки цьому німці, французи, угорці та решта країн Європи читають про нацизм лише у новинах та підручниках історії. Україна готова битися й надалі. Але нам потрібна зброя. Тому ми зараз у Німеччині обговорюємо важливість далекобійних ракет та іншого озброєння. Перемогли нацизм — переможемо й рашизм! Порошенко О.П.
