In Memoriam: On May 1, Harrison Brown, a 19-year-old freshman at the University of Texas, called his mother Lori Brown, for their daily check-in. Their last words to one another were “I love you.” The second call from Harrison’s phone on May 1 came as Lori sat alone in her school classroom on a break. She glanced at his number and said hello, expecting to hear her son say he’d forgotten to tell her something. “There was a girl’s voice, and she was shaking, and I knew immediately — my heart fell to the floor — that this was not going to be a good phone call,” she said. The stranger told her that her son had been stabbed and was bleeding badly. Then the call cut off. Lori remembers hearing herself screaming so loudly that other teachers poured from their classrooms and into the hall. She ran to the front office and frantically told her co-workers, “Harrison’s been stabbed!” Lori took the first flight to Austin, by the time they touched down, a driver met her, but he could tell her nothing new as he drove her to the hospital. There, a social worker led her into a conference room where other members of her family had gathered. Lori's sister in law, who had arrived at the hospital first, told her Harrison was dead. Kendrex White (bottom right), armed with a Bowie knife, attacked Harrison and three other students before being taken into police custody. As Harrison lay bleeding to death from a chest wound, the 19-year-old handed his phone to a passerby so that she could call his mother and let her know. Lori lost her son to a violent black who purposely targeted 3 Whites and 1 Asian student. A month later, her husband Kurt after hearing of Harrison's stabbing and death, couldn't take the grief combined with Lou Gehrig's disease, passed away. Harrison Brown, 19, had his whole life ahead of him, if not for the actions of another psychopath. Kendrick White was found "NOT GUILTY" by reason of "INSANITY".
