So what can we do, us little people, to change the mess we are now in?
Start at home. Put our own homes and life in order, Prepare the things we need in case of emergency.
Get right with God.
Take care of our neighbors as we are able. Visit the sick and those in need.
Learn the issues which are of concern to our local and national governments. Participate and volunteer as needed.
That could give a a good start, start us on a productive path. The more we do, the more we will see to do.
