Israel will win the war, defeat Hamas, and send a further message to those entities that have sought to wipe her from the map. Israel is here to stay. The cost of the victory has been immense, with numerous lives lost and many innocent people impacted, regardless of their background. Moreover, Israel's relations with its allies have been strained through no fault of its own, pushing these ties to the brink of collapse. This is partly due to the internal pressures faced by the leaders of these nations. But there is also a further insidious cost: the unleashing of the bottled-up anti-Semitic and anti-Israel feelings that have been hidden for a long time. It is this threat that Israel's coming victory will not be able to contain. Every Jew and supporter of Israel must take a firm and unyielding stance against this hate and bigotry. We must remain vigilant, persistent and steadfast in our convictions. We must not back down or cower in the face of this rising threat. It's time to stand up, speak out, and act against this scourge. Leaders of Western Democracies must also wake up to the fact that the threat that Israel is facing down will not end when Hamas and Jihadis are destroyed. The danger of radical Islamists is already within your borders and being played out on your streets. Unless you and your citizens stand up to this very real threat, the terrors inflicted will continue in their pursuit of the worldwide caliphate. Between 1979 and May 2021, a study by Fondapol, a French think tank, found that the world experienced at least 48,035 Islamist terrorist attacks, leading to the deaths of at least 210,138 individuals. On average, each attack resulted in approximately 4.4 fatalities. Explosives were identified as the most frequently used weapon, accounting for 43.9% of these attacks. Within the European Union, France was the most affected country, experiencing at least 82 Islamist attacks that resulted in 332 deaths.
