Feminists need to realize that marriage, children, staying at home, being a homemaker are all traditional values. They are not feminist values Feminists will gripe at me about how they are married and have children therefore feminism is about this, not it’s not, those are traditional values you follow and ascribe to. Those are not modern or feminist values at all This is the disconnect. They will say they live happy lives because of feminism but in reality they have happy fulfilled lives because of following and having traditional values and institutions in their lives. To be a true feminist a woman must not marry, not have children, be independent, career focused and driven who is promiscuous. Those are all non traditional values and what feminism has always been about. This is why women don’t understand what feminism truly is, because they’ve actually never ascribed to it.
