Ages of Founding Fathers in 1776: James Monroe, 18 Aaron Burr, 20 John Marshall, 20 Alexander Hamilton, 21 James Madison, 25 Benjamin Rush, 30 John Jay, 30 Thomas Jefferson, 33 Thomas Paine: 38 Never lose sight of the fact these wise men were young men fighting tyranny and for their kids to have liberty. Our current political class is out of touch with people who have to live with the decisions they make 30-50 years from now. We desperately need new voices who ask "what would our founders do?" before they make decisions. We need that level of courage once again.
