Enter trans activism and woke ideology. First, they asked to be tolerated. Then they demanded to be treated like everybody else. That was fine. When they got what they wanted, they demanded special treatment—to not merely accepted but to be included in everything. It became mandatory. And then they demanded to have their lifestyles celebrated. For men to be able to enter into women’s spaces. For men to partake in women’s sports. That too was mandatory. When that wasn’t enough, they demanded that your children be made to be just like them. For their ideology to be made into state religion. For critics and dissenters and comedians to be canceled. For every cultural, social and civilizational norm to be dismantled, altered, and radically transitioned to fit their demands. Enough.
