It's really telling, the extent to which Hollywood will go to normalize – and then award – pedophilic behavior. What's up with the silence about how Emma Stone's Academy Award-winning character in Poor Things is a woman with a LEGIT child's brain getting sexually exploited? Yes – a child's brain. Her unborn baby's brain is Frankenstein'd into her own skull after she kills herself. Coverage fawning after this film is nasty too. As Daily Beast put it, she has an "unapologetic sexual awakening." They dubbed the movie: "Emma Stone's Wild Sex Romp." Another vomit-inducing quote from their coverage of Poor Things: "Though Bella’s muscles are at full maturity, her brain has only recently learned to move them, so she walks with a theatrical lurch, somewhere between a toddler’s waddle and the flounce of a marionette." Her character, Bella Baxter is sexually "liberated," but because she's GENUINELY child-brained she doesn't actually understand what's going on when she's getting screwed by men. This is pedophilic in nature, but masked by the guise of post-sexual revolution feminism... so it earns Academy Awards. Why is this okay?
