The word "genocide" was created in 1944 by Jewish Professor Raphael Lemkin, to describe the Nazi mass murder of Jews and the Ottoman Turk mass murder of Armenians.
Genocide means trying to destroy an ethnic group. It was applied to the Nazis during the Nuremberg trials.
The Arabs in Palestine were close allies with the Nazis, as they shared similar ideologies.
The founding Hamas charter clearly shows the group's genocidal intent.
