This is RimaAnn Nelson. Nelson was the VA official who tried to ban the V-J kiss.
Before this, she was director of a St. Louis Veterans Affair hospital from 2009-2013.
Under her management, her staff was not trained to sterilize facility equipment.
Veterans were exposed to HIV & hepatitis.
Investigators then followed up to see if the problem had been solved at the facility.
It wasn't. Vets were found sitting in feces.
