This is the skull of a person with lion face syndrome. Lion face syndrome is a rare craniofacial abnormality wherein progressive facial bone expansion results in an appearance similar to lion's face. It is not a disease in itself, but a symptom of other diseases like fibrous dysplasia and hyperparathyroidism. The condition is exceptionally rare and there is no treatment other than exposing the overgrown bone, and chipping away pieces.
