The Abraham Accords represented the single greatest accomplishment and potential for lasting peace in the Middle East in modern history. The initiation of the policy should have immediately been rewarded with a Nobel Prize. That it did not exposes the true nature and ideology of the Nobel committee. The attack on October 7th was, in part, aimed at thwarting the anticipated and historic peace deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia and Iran are, of course, bitterly divided and have competing ideologies and goals. Whatever your politics, it must be admitted that the current American Administration has been, from day one, obsessively determined to reverse every policy success of its predecessor and revive Obama’s disastrous Middle Eastern meddling and pro-Iranian stance. These policies have enriched and empowered Iran and its terrorist proxies, stoking war and aggression, while setting the world on fire.
