"Palestine was never a country.
Following the suppression of the Bar Kokhba revolt, Jerusalem was rebuilt as a Roman colony, and the province of Judea was renamed Syria Palaestina. That’s where the name came from.
Arabs came to the Palestine area which was under British mandate to seek economic opportunities. Jewish people were creating better conditions of living in Palestine than anywhere else in the MENA.
PLO was created in 1964 by the KGB.
Between 1948 and 1967 Gaza was under Egypt’s occupation and West Bank under Jordan’s. During that time Arabs who lived in Gaza and the West Bank never suggested having a country called Palestine, which never existed."
