In a message commemorating the two-year anniversary of the war, King Charles III of Great Britain expressed admiration for the determination and strength displayed by the Ukrainian people.
"Despite facing immense hardship and pain, Ukrainians continue to exhibit the heroism that the world so closely associates with them. Their resilience in the face of unspeakable aggression is true valor," stated Charles III.
The King further reflected on his personal interactions with Ukrainians, including President Zelenskyy and Mrs. Zelenska, as well as new recruits undergoing training in the United Kingdom, acknowledging the profound impact of their stories.
Charles III emphasized the United Kingdom's commitment, alongside its allies, to remain at the forefront of international efforts in supporting Ukraine during this period of great suffering and need.
"I wish with all my heart that everyone affected by this conflict will remain in my thoughts and prayers," Charles concluded.
