We’ve been betrayed by our government officials. They have lied to us, cheated us, and are stealing from us.
They have supported programs that have convinced us to kill and abuse our kids.
They have trodden down our human rights, created hollow heroes to follow, and whispered in our ears, “There is no God.”
Betrayal hurts more if it is done by someone or something you love.
Jesus is betrayed, although He loves us dearly.
