Effeminacy in men, and masculinity in women only advances the kingdom of darkness. Male head ship is not a result of the fall. Egalitarianism was never in the cards for humanity. Had sin never entered into the world, Man would have still had the task of leading, and Woman would have still had the task of helping. We know that the headship of man is a pre-fall reality, because sin did not enter the world through Eve, even though she sinned first. Adam was the head. He was the leader, and He was accountable to God for leading and protecting his family. Adam was to lead and Eve was to help. Those rolls are inherent within the nature of man and woman. And they are both glorious! Humanity was never meant to live in an egalitarian paradise. There is in fact, no such thing as an egalitarian paradise. That’s simply not how God created the world or intends for it to function. Getting this right really is central to kingdom advancement. This is because you and I, as Christians, are proclaiming and working towards the advancement of Christ’s kingdom as men and as women. Effeminacy in men, and masculinity in women only advances the kingdom of darkness. Men, you are the head of your household, you are called to lead, protect and take sacrificial responsibility. Women, you are called to help your husband. You are his glory, and his chief advisor. You should be oriented toward your husband and your home. One is not more valuable than the other.
