An 80-year-old grandfather from Germany has saved millions of euros and bought ten houses by digging through garbage and watching business lectures on Youtube.
The man receives a pension of €3600, but saves on everything: he spends €5 on groceries a month, finds food in rubbish dumps and drowns his home in waste. His only possessions are a laptop to watch the business lectures that taught him to be frugal.
He invests his earnings in buying and renovating houses to rent out, currently having ten houses in his portfolio. The retiree is convinced that many people live in poverty because of their own wastefulness and inattention to the resources they possess.
