The World's Longest Marriage Lasted 86 Years
The next time one of your friends tries to tell you that true love doesn't exist, just tell them about Herbert and Zelmira Fisher.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the late couple broke the record for longest marriage in history back in February 2011, staying married for 86 years and 290 days.
As for the secret of their success, the couple once said that "there is no secret in our marriage - we just did what was necessary for each other and our family."
