They saw videos of prisoners in "harsh" conditions and were overcome with emotions because the police were being "mean", and "inhumane" with them and were "abusing their human rights". Yet they are incapable of making the logical connection that being nice and cuddly with violent criminals has led to the deaths and rapes of so many women in the past. It's either this or they have rape fetishes, like how Andrea Dworkin, another prominent feminist had.
