John MacArthur, 55 Years of Faithful Ministry:
Fifty-five years have swiftly passed,
Since Pastor John, his lot was cast.
In sixty-nine, a journey’s start,
With fervent faith and willing heart.
From Talbot’s halls, he came to stand,
In Sun Valley’s welcoming land. Grace Community Church, his charge to keep, A shepherd strong for all his sheep.
Through decades five, his voice has rung, With timeless truths from Scripture sprung. His steadfast love, his care, his might, Guiding souls from dark to light.
A pastor, teacher, guide, and friend,
On whom so many souls depend.
His words, a balm; his counsel, wise,
A beacon bright in stormy skies.
With every sermon, every prayer, He showed God’s love, beyond compare. His leadership, both firm and kind, A legacy of faith, we find.
Today we celebrate and give, Thanks for the life God chose him live. John MacArthur, by grace, you stand,
A faithful servant, strong and grand.
Here’s to the years that lie ahead,
May you with joy and peace be led.
Your journey’s mark, profound and vast,
A testament of faith that certainly lasts.
