Pulled this from my memories feed on FB. Worth sharing and once again proves that where there’s a will, there’s a way:
Adrienne and Aaron's son was diagnosed with autism at 14 months old. He didn't speak until he was 4, couldn't get through an IQ test to determine if he was ID until 8, struggled with encopresis until he was 12, and dealt with severe gross, small motor, and nervous system delays. She tells us he also had to push past dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, auditory processing disorder, and higher-order language deficits. This is also the kid who is graduating second/third in his class, is the varsity swim team captain, was being heavily recruited to swim in college, and is taking calculus remotely through a four-year university degree. To top it all off, he was accepted to his top choice of university last night!" Congrats to him! That is a BIG smile
