///@roaringcenturies: On this day in 1969, NASA's Apollo 11 successfully landed on the moon and American astronaut Neil Armstrong became the first human to walk on the lunar surface.Armstrong famously declared, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind," as he descended the ladder and placed his foot on the lunar surface. They spent around 3hrs outside the spacecraft, collecting samples, conducting experiments, and planting the United States flag.Definitely, One Giant Leap For Mankind. #history #americanhistory #historia #ushistory
