My father, corp executive, college professor, volunteer police officer, eagle scout trainer, etc, etc, etc has been gone for more than 1/2 of my life and I still miss him. He is the only person I know who never had an ill word to say about anyone. He taught us to look for the good in everyone. His favorite saying was, "the measure of the man is how he treats the least among us." He lived by that rule and instilled a sense of personal responsibility and respect for others as a way of life.
