ST. PATRICK WAS HERE, IN 432 AD!
It was here on Tipperary's Rock of Cashel that he baptised King Aengus, Ireland’s first Christian ruler, and in 1101 the King of Munster, Muirchertach Ua Briain, donated his fortress to the Church. It's from the beautiful county of Tipperary, on the eve of St. Patrick's Day.
