Years ago, a friend of ours tried to talk us into eating a tofu burger. She swore we wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a real beef burger and a tofu burger. I took one look at it and said, ‘pass’. Bill caved and said he’d have one. He took one bite, looked at Joanne and then looked at me… and spit it out. Said it was disgusting.
