When I read this, I think about my mother. Because she flat out refused to live with any of her children, she had a lovely apartment in an ALF. She lived near my daughter, 2 nieces and my brother and his wife. They all came to visit with her at least once a week and thanks to the best boss in the world, I was able take time off from work to fly up to Virginia from Miami to spend time with her every 4-6 weeks. Mom often looked at us when we were there and said, “don’t you people have better things to do than bother an old woman?” She was a hoot and a half and we all treasured our time with her... I just wish we had more
