Today was a very full day, though many things that happened came unexpectedly to us.
I was able to get in some swimming today, which cooled me off nicely. And even as the temperatures rose, along with the humidity, I carried that refreshing feeling long into the day.
We had friends come throughout the day. It doesn't happen often that more than one makes an unexpected visit, but today must have been the day for it.
We didn't have much planned for the day except to get more canning done. It got delayed a bit, but we still accomplished what we had planned in good time. We canned rhubarb sauce and cherry pit syrup. We were glad to get that done.
I like the way that God fits things together and organizes our schedule when we look to Him.
The timing was perfect, especially for unscheduled visits. Every visitor came at the perfect time, without running into anyone else's time. That takes God scheduling.
It is fun watching a day unfold around me in such a way.
Friends dropped off things that had been offered to us, though not yet scheduled. We had a good time with all of them.
Into the day we added some extra farm work that needed to be done. Everything seemed to flow nicely.
Nothing felt rushed and everything got done.
Stay strong! Appreciate all the variety that comes into your day, expected or unexpected.
