Well......it looks like the FB "things" have again determined that my alter ego (The Cairo Curmudgeoness) and myself are somehow or another a "bad" influence. As you may or may not be aware, a couple of months ago I was forced into providing additional authentication to be on FB. This all occured at the same time FB determined that The CCess needed to give me the new page experience. It took over a week that time.
I have been having to login several times a day, basically everytime I switch between the 2 accounts. This involves entering my password and then exiting FB and going into the Authenticator app to generate a code which I then had to enter into FB (within 15 seconds). Well, today FB decided that it didn't like the code being provided by the Authenticator app. Tried about 20 times going out and generating a new code each time.
When FB forced the new page experience on The CCess it began to cause problems for both my husband and son as they were both administrators. In fact my husband had to remove himself as an administrator due to the effect it was having on his other page, The Cairo Curmudgeon.
Now, "they" expect me to go through the recovery process. The first 2 steps involve providing my email (no big deal) AND providing a copy of my official ID. The 1st time I was angry, this time I am livid and frustrated beyond words. Who knows what steps 3 - whatever will be. Will "they" require DNA at some point?
How is it that I have to provide an "official ID" but the platform seems to express the belief that voter ID is discriminatory? The hypocrisy is so blatant and "in your face". I am going to be taking some time to determine if I am willing to provide "THEM" with my driver's license. I know many of you might think I am being silly. After all that information it out there. But as I have said repeatedly each of us must determine just how far we will be pushed
