After some testing over the last few days, I've found that the speed of this thing is just massive, like almost instant. Near zero lag between hitting send on 1 device and it popping on screen on the other. The UI is clean and crisp and un-cluttered. No pages of settings to dig thru. No avatar to set that I could find (has a generic simple image for your very limited profile section). Makes me wonder why it has a 59MB footprint with its limited features.
Also found that choosing to send image does nothing. Maybe that's a permission issue that I'll have to check on later. I was able to get an image to send perfectly and quickly using the send file option. Which makes no sense, if app has access to files, would think it would have access to images too? File size send limit is 25MB which again is curious for a limit (I've sent 200MB+ files on #Zangi fairly quickly with no issues). So I sent a 5MB file thru for the test and although it sent and was received successfully, when I saved it to the receiving device the icon for file said unknown file. Something else I will have to check into later.
The biggest drawback I've come across so far is this... #ExtraSafe only works on Android 11+. Now idk about you but I can't afford to go out and buy a new device ever time the heathens at Screwgle decide to add another number to the already bloated android OS just so a damb app will work. This will probly be the reason I won't give it a 5 star recommendation. I only have 2 old tablets that it will run on. Yet another reason to hate BigTech, they decide what you are able to use.
Anyway, y'all have a good week.
