View MoreThe Retirement Blues: 😎 One of the saddest things you will experience as you reach the age of retirement. That is, IF you can reach the age after they continue to raise the age you need to be to do so, because your 2 party government would rather you pay in your entire life but die before you can collect what you paid for your entire life. Anyway if you are able to survive to that age you will have to make a decision. Do I collect the small reward that I earned by paying in my whole life, because no it is not a government entitlement they are not giving you anything, you paid for it (and they stole from it). So again sadly you will have to decide do I want to live on that and in most cases struggle to pay the taxes the fees the high energy costs the prescription costs that your 2 party government continues to make you pay, and you have to wonder if you can even survive that without losing your home and everything you worked your entire life for. Or the other sad part of your choice if you are lucky enough to make it. Do you take your SS and make your tired old beat up body at 70 (nearly there) years old and force it to keep going just so you can have a chance to keep what you have and support yourself and spouse if you have one. I know some people have been more wise than others, and have set themselves up to be doing rather well in retirement God bless you for being able to do that, but even you would be doing better if not collecting such a small amount from what you paid for yourself, and burdened by those taxes fees etc. Whichever choice you make and even if you are lucky enough to be one of the those that made the wise choices, the saddest thing you will think about is that even before you were lucky enough to make it to that age, you had to watch as those from your 2 party government were making millionaires of themselves and granting themselves huge benefits for a great retirement for themselves. That and giving away trillions of those taxes to people who don't want to work or to people who invaded our country and yell death to America and then proceed to do just that kill rape assault citizens and though I'm sure they also found benefits from our taxes they never paid in a cent. That being said and now that I have saddened you about retirement. 😎 There is a point I would like to make. I luckily made it to retire but chose to continue working and through all those years I was and still am an Independent voter, as I observed the 2 parties through those years, while I still believe both are at fault for putting this country right where it is now 38 trillion in debt, invaded divided, broken. I believe over the years it is always the democrats who do the most destruction to this country, more so every year. Their may not be much I can do to fix this country in the short time left me. But I do know that for what little time is left the only way I can help my country to survive a bit longer and there are only the 2 parties this old fart will never vote for a democrat. It ain't much but at least I'm trying in my small way to at least slow down the destruction of a country I love.
