âSaving Israel for Lastâ? No, America Comes Last
For years, the Q crowd kept repeating, âTrust the plan. Weâre saving Israel for last.â But the truth has been the exact opposite: weâve been putting Israel first and America last. Billions in taxpayer dollars flow across the ocean while our veterans sleep on the streets, our families canât afford health care, and our kids drown in debt just trying to get an education.
Trump didnât just âsupportâ Israelâhe went above and beyond, funding their hospitals (so they get free health care), funding their colleges (so their kids go for free), and sending endless aid packages year after year. Meanwhile, the average American is told to suck it up and pay higher taxes for worse services.
Trump the Lifelong Liberal
People forget: Trump was a liberal his whole life until he decided to run for office. He supported Democrats, he supported gun control, and nowâlook at his recordâheâs talking gun grabs, red flag laws, and big-government control that sounds more like a communist playbook than America First.
Billionaires and Foreign Leaders Win, You Lose
Why is it that Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and foreign governments can get Trumpâs approval for billions at the snap of a finger, but you canât get affordable health care in your own country? Why is it that Israelâs hospitals are better funded than the ones here, and their kids have free college while American kids drown in loans?

Letâs call it what it is: a betrayal. Trump talks like a patriot, but he governs like a globalist. He pretends to stand with the working man, but the working man gets nothing while his billionaire buddies cash out. I came across something Charles Manson once said that made me stop and think. Now, donât get me wrong â Manson was a madman, not someone anyone should look up to. But sometimes even madmen say things that force uncomfortable questions.
Manson suggested that some groups build power by leaning into their role as victims. That thought led me to wonder: Would Israel be able to do what itâs doing to Palestinians if it werenât for the memory of the Holocaust?
Think about it. Every time international outrage grows over bombings in Gaza or the endless occupation of the West Bank, what comes back? The reminder: âNever forget. Never again.â And yes, the Holocaust was real, horrific, and one of the darkest crimes in human history. No sane person denies that.
But hereâs the hard part: does that history now get used as a shield for Israelâs government? Do the horrors of the past give todayâs leaders a kind of immunity â a way to silence critics by accusing them of antisemitism the second they speak up for Palestine?
Because if thatâs the case, then weâre watching tragedy upon tragedy. One groupâs suffering in the past is being used to justify another peopleâs suffering today. And thatâs a cycle of victimization and violence that should make every moral person uncomfortable.
So Iâll leave it with this question: If there had been no Holocaust, would the world let Israel get away with what itâs doing to Palestinians? Or is the story of victimhood what keeps it untouchable?

Trump and the GOP: Israel First, Not America First
But hereâs the truth most Republicans donât want to hear: Trump is no different when it comes to selling out Americans. While Democrats are focused on giving your tax dollars to illegal immigrants, Trump is laser-focused on sending your money overseas â billions and billions to Israel.
Trump likes to say âAmerica First,â but when it comes time to make the calls, itâs Israel first. And the Democrats? They do both â shovel billions to Israel while also handing billions more to illegal immigrants here at home.
So ask yourself: whereâs the party that actually puts Americans first? Whereâs the party that says, âNo, weâre not giving $200 billion to illegals, and no, weâre not sending endless billions to Israelâ? Neither side is saying it.

This is the real game in Washington. Democrats buy future voters with welfare for illegals. Republicans buy influence and donor support by giving endless aid to Israel. Both wings of the bird feed off taxpayers while American families are left scraping by.

Seniors choose between groceries and prescriptions.
Workers get taxed harder just to fund people and countries that arenât even American.

Witnessing what passed for âCharlie Kirkâs funeralâ has been deeply unsettling â and not just for people who disagreed with his politics. The line between memorial and performance was erased. In place of quiet grief and private remembrance, we got fireworks, fundraising pitches, celebrity speeches, and a stage more suited to a campaign rally than a funeral.
When Mourning Becomes a Show
A memorial service was held September 21 in Glendale, Arizona at State Farm Stadium, drawing tens of thousands. What should have been a solemn, private moment for family and close friends became a theatrical production. Pyrotechnics went off as Erika Kirk and Donald Trump took the stage. The stage was lit up with sparklers, music, and loud cheers.
The organizers defended these choices. According to Andrew Kolvet, Kirkâs spokesman, âour staff loves the effect ⌠Charlie loved it. We do not grieve the way the world grieves.â The message: This is how they want to mourn â with spectacle, with energy, with public display.
But grieving isnât supposed to be a performance. Funerals exist â ideally â for the familyâs private sorrow, for close friends to have a moment of introspection, and for attendees to honor the departed with dignity. When the line is crossed into spectacle, grief becomes co-opted.
Speeches That Served an Agenda
The event featured numerous high-profile speeches: Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Stephen Miller, and others. These werenât short tributes. Trumpâs eulogy ran about 40 minutes, during which he wove in political talking points â crime in Chicago, tariffs, national destiny â shifting from personal remembrance to campaigning. Much of the tone was triumphant, painting Kirk as a martyr for patriotism and faith.
When the dead become symbols, the mourning becomes hollow. The grief of a family becomes secondary to the ambitions of factions.
Fundraising as Eulogy
If the speeches werenât enough, fundraising overtures followed closely behind. Turning Point USA saw a surge in donations immediately after Kirkâs death. The widow, Erika Kirk, launched fundraising campaigns and appeals as part of carrying on his legacy. The event itself reportedly held voter registration booths and sold merchandise â red hats emblazoned âKIRKâ among them.
Itâs not inherently wrong to fundraise, or even ask for support after a tragic death. But when that becomes part of the funeral pageantry â when grief, public mourning, and political fundraising blur into one â it cheapens the emotional integrity of loss.
Why It Feels Gross (Because It Is)
1. Erosion of Private Grief
The familyâs right to a solemn, quiet moment was sacrificed for a massive public event. The voices that shouldâve mattered most â close relatives, old friends â got drowned out by megaphones, cameras, and politics.
2. Grief as a Means, Not an End
When a funeral doubles as a campaign rally, grief becomes instrumentalized. Itâs a tool to mobilize, to recruit, to galvanize supporters. The deceased becomes a brand, not a person.
3. Mixed Messages = Desecration
Fireworks, loud music, political speeches â these send a message that grief must be loud, triumphant, and mobilizing. But grief is also quiet, messy, contradictory, and unglamorous.
4. Controlling the Narrative
In such a setting, the narrative about Kirk was tightly controlled. He becomes sainted, martyrized, unassailable. That leaves little room for nuance, for critique, or for complex discussion of his life and ideas.
A Better Standard for Mourning
If we accept that public figures may warrant public memorials, we still need guardrails. A funeral can include a public service, but the tone must remain respectful of private mourning. Fundraising should be clearly separate. Speeches should focus on memory, not mobilization. And spectacle â fireworks, light shows â has its place in celebrations, not farewells.
What we witnessed was not just a funeral gone over the top; it was a funeral hijacked by politics. Thatâs not tribute. Thatâs optics. And itâs deeply disrespectful â both to the dead and to the mourners.
