Creative Release
There are times that we must do what is needful. It may not be necessarily enjoyable in itself, but accomplishing it gives a sense of completion.
There are not a lot of tasks that don't need to be repeated over and over again. Most of the time our sense of accomplishment is really just a sense of relief to get that done, before it needs done again.
So it is good to tackle some things that we actually finish and they are done. They usually require a creative avenue, making something, building something, drawing something or writing something.
Everyone needs a bit of that in their lives, something they can complete and look back on as finished.
It may not be as spectacular as God's creation, but that bit of creativy comes from Him, so I think of this verse.
“Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
Genesis 1:31
Sometimes we need to not only be relieved that something is done, but sit back and appreciate it.
“Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.”
Genesis 2:1-3

Choose Your Side
On the side of light is the Kingdom of Heaven. The King gave His life to set us free.
We made the bad choices and earned punishment, but Jesus paid the price to make a way for us.
On the side of darkness is the Kingdom of this World. The ruler, Satan, takes lives and enslaves us.
Satan uses our bad choices to tell us we are worthless and useless. Or he puffs us up and makes us worthless and useless.
Light reveals. Darkness Hides.
God gave. Satan takes.
The difference is so stark that to miss it is literally to miss the difference between day and night.
What God offers is only for those who seriously choose Him, because only those who chose Him will follow Him. Those who do not choose Jesus in this life would not follow Him even if they found themselves in Heaven.
Angels have been cast out of Heaven because they chose to follow the one who had been turned into darkness by his own desires. Mere mortals have done the same. They would find no place in Heaven if they do not follow Jesus here.
Since God knows this, they won't be allowed in, in the first place. They will stand before God at the Great White Thone for judgment, but that is the closest they will get to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Salvation can be offered. It cannot be forced upon anyone, even for their own good.
We are accountable for our own choices. Free will comes with that accountability.
If we do not seek righteousness we will not find the path of light. We will not find light if we choose to go where wickedness dwells.
So, the choice starts with choosing the direction you want to go, and if you realize you are going in the wrong direction, to turn around.
The light of Jesus will always shine the way to any who seek Him.
Stay strong! Seek righteousness and goodness if you want to find the Kingdom of God.
