Trump (in which Trump was ordered to pay $454M, which put his assets at risk of being seized) finally went before “an extremely liberal” 5-judge New York State Appeallate Court last week. WELP! The hearing went so badly for Leticia James and the gang (🤡) that the State’s closing arguments turned into nothing more than desperate begging NOT to be sanctioned, instead of actually arguing the validity of their original case. 😂 So much so, that THE JUDGES interrupted Leticia’s team THREE TIMES to demand they answer the following: 1. Can you find us ANY another case in the history of jurisprudence when the person being charged with fraud was able to call the bank that they allegedly defrauded and have that bank show up to testify on THEIR BEHALF in a court of law that, “We weren’t defrauded.” Leticia’s lawyers failed to identify a single case of the same. Then the panel of judges asked: 2. Have you ever prosecuted someone for lying about the value of their property when it resulted in them STILL paying the entire loan back WITH INTEREST? Letitia’s lawyers could not produce a single case where that happened. Finally, the judges demanded to know: 3. Have you ever seen an Attorney General prosecute a case where there was NO DAMAGE to the PUBLIC or NO DAMAGE to the person/entity they claimed was defrauded? PLUS, add to that the fact that there was no ACTUAL MALICE committed by the person who took the loan? Silence from Letitia’s lawyers. By the time the hearing was over, the 5-judge panel outright questioned WHY this case brought in the first place AND THAT THE STATE MAY NEED TO BE SANCTIONED for bringing a case in a MALICIOUS MANNER. 🎯 One judge actually went so far as to say, “I have come to believe that since a case like this has NEVER been brought in the HISTORY of the country that you have ONLY brought this case BECAUSE the person was running for President of the United States. If so, this would put you afoul with not only multiple regulations regarding the LAW, but would also run you afoul of ELECTIONEERING INTERFERENCE.” 💯🔥 Stay tuned for their verdict!!! 🍿🍿🍿 🎥: @teameffujoe
