I wasn't able to try Tusk but what I've learned about Tusk is that it's one of the worst search engines on the web.
No slant desired here. Just in the surface I would see no reason for it.
Brave also lets you pick left, right and centre, and is private. I will take a look at Tusk, as I'm always open to different tech, but it would take a lot to move me from Brave.
