Bonus Part 4: The Kinzua Viaduct in Pennsylvania is well documented as being erected in just 94 days in 1882. That number sounds impossible until you understand the construction method. The iron was fabricated and drilled in shops before being shipped to the site by rail. Once the materials arrived, crews assembled the bridge across the valley using prefabricated sections.
