To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, [19] and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, [20] for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak. https://bible.com/bible/59/eph.6.10-20.ESV As warriors for Christ, we must be, intimately aware of the Word, and the worlds perversion of it, satan was the praise and worship leader, intimately aware of the word of God, its power, and he uses its counterfeit to enslave all he can, "the devil, as a roaring lion, roams the earth, seeking whom he may devour", this sounds horrible, yet his only power is to deceive the brethren and those of this world, it says: "seeking whom he (may) devour", we must allow him to devour us, through his deception, making him into this huge demon, but its smoke and mirrors, dont misunderstand what i am saying, there is evil in both the air and in the earth, but it's power is to deceive, even the very elect, if possible! As Christian men, women as well, but i speak, mainly to men, we must be serious, sober and armed with the whole armor of God, and protect ourselves, Spirit, soul: (mind, will, and emotion, and body), in order to fulfill His call on our lives, not "shadow boxing", as Paul says, but to win the prize, of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus! My 1st pastor 1984, took me aside and for some reason taught me in counsel: you want to know how to live? There's 31 proverbs, and most months have around 31 days, read the proverb of the day, not just reading, but he said to eat it, each line, until it means something! Then he said: if you want to know how to deal with life read Psalms, where David usually starts out with human emotions, anger, despair, sadness, fear etc, but by the end, praising God! Again, he said, read the Gospels to learn of Christ, and the Epistles for what The Church is and how to serve, and deal with it! I pray for all men, that they may know the riches of His glory and the power of His might in you, and His love that passes all understanding, even in correction and instruction! May God richly bless you abundantly with His whole word, and protect your faith, so you and I can protect, including provide for those of our household and His church, as we boldly speak and more importantly, act out His word in our lives, when no one is looking! God loves you and so do I! JESUS CHRIST:the same, yesterday, today, and forever!
