When I went to CDL school they taught you to check bridge height and seah in right lane....but on the east coast there is a whole lot of old bridges with arches and if you stay in right side lane... Your going to hit a bridge!!!!!!

With a low bridge type deal you have to really speed up before you get to it. As you speed up the truck hunkers down to the road and you can get right through those low overpasses.
