Might be time to rethink building anything there. Or build a number of big hills as temporary escape points. The flash floods generally don't last very long. But the damage they can do in just a few hours is devastating!

The County currently has no emergency alert system in place for flash flood warnings, no horns, no sirens. The Federal gov said they will be changing that though.
