Indian removal, slavery, civil war, KKK, Jim Crow, Tammany Hall, bureaucratic institutions, class warfare, eugenics, nanny state, Daley Machine, civil disobedience, rioting, 2 centuries of corruption & identity politics. Democrats since 1828...same now as then.
