Just because I don’t like what you think, say, or do. As long as you’re not causing harm to others, it’s your right to do you. I try to look at things from a big picture view, rather than this one moment. I was raised to respect elders, respect women, say please and thank you. I was raised to stand and remove my hat for our National Anthem. I was taught to show respect for our nations flag. Life is about who is best suited for the roll of position. This identity politics is absolutely ridiculous. The further you break people down into groups, then sub groups, and sub groups of that it will implode upon itself. I can’t believe rather than elevating people we are lowering standards and expectations in the name of equity!?
