Why Doing Good Makes It Easier to Be Bad
What makes people who seem so good in public act so bad in private?

View MoreJust read an article, that told about how firefighters had to use almost 73,000 gallons of water to put out a burning Tesla battery, to keep it from re-igniting. This seems to happen quite a bit, as lithium batteries are rather unstable, and are near-impossible to put out, when burning.
Now, I have no doubt that electric cars will one day be made safe, efficient, and cost-effective.
The problem is, they're trying foist them upon us right now, when they're unsafe, inefficient, and outrageously expensive. This, because...y'know, we have to save the Earth from Climate Change by radically-reducing fossil fuels...and electric cars are totally charged-up, using fairy farts and unicorn hair.
As to them being expensive, though, here's what I think: you and I, the common folk, the hoi polloi...
In the "Hunger Games"-like society of the New World Order, rabble like you and me won't be good enough to own our own vehicles, and go wherever we like. That privilege will be reserved for our billionaire betters...who will be able to afford prohibitively-expensive electric vehicles. Y'know, like Stephen Colbert, now.
If you'll recall, Colbert made a joke about not being too personally put off about high gas prices...because he drives a Tesla. The joke fell flat, and he was rightly savaged for it on social media, but it tells you all you need to know about our wealthy elites...
"...I'm better than you, because I can afford to pay more than you, for stuff".
Those of us lowlifes who can somehow afford one will probably find it very hard to charge it.
We commoner toilers wastefully use the resources that rightly belong to the Elites...and that has to end, for them to live in their rightful comfort and luxury forever and ever, world without end, Amen...
The nice part, though, is that elitist jerks like Stephen Colbert ultimately won't be good enough to sit at the cool kids' table, either. He doesn't make enough money. Or rather, he does MAKE money; he doesn't just HAVE money, like them...how gauche.
I keep seeing these ads for potions and elixirs that are supposed to help old farts who work out develop muscle mass. I agree with Rob Schneider; old people should not be that cut. It looks weird.

The problem is, the pictures they use are of old men who also probably moderate their diets to diminish fat.
No.
These old men may indeed be strong, cut, and have great definition...but they're still old men. Even with the muscle definition, they look scrawny. It happens with young people too, though.
You need a layer of fat, to soften the outline; mitigate things some. Otherwise, it looks like it would hurt to bump into you, and nobody needs that.
