Before 2023, the last "outbreak" occurred in Palm Beach, FL in 2003 (around the same time as the space shuttle Columbia exploded after launch). Anyone else think that it is curious that the mosquito population in Florida hasn't changed, but malaria is once again found here the same time that Ron DeSantis decides to announce his intent to run for president?
