THE CONTROVERSY AT A GLANCE
Reports indicate hundreds have gathered in Emenwa village, Nyamache (Kisii County), following claims of a "Virgin Mary" apparition on a soot-darkened kitchen wall. While excitement spreads and police manage crowds, the phenomenon is unverified as supernatural. The homeowner himself noted online photos appear altered or enhanced using AI.
As Christians, our duty is to test all religious excitement against the Bible—not to follow manifestations, but to look to Christ.
KEY PROPHETIC & BIBLICAL LESSONS
1. Look to the Creator, Not a WallGod never established His worship on physical representations (Deut 4:12, 15). Attaching religious authority or prayer to an image compromises biblical worship.
2. Beware of "Lo Here" and "Lo There"Christ explicitly warned against running after localized manifestations or secret chambers (Matt 24:23, 26). His second coming will be global, visible, and unmistakable (Matt 24:27).
3. Look Up to ChristIn times of signs and distress, Jesus instructs: "Look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh" (Luke 21:28).
4. Homiletical Lessons: Emenwa & Getare
Emenwa ("Mouths"): Reminds us of Revelation 16:13–14—we must watch what comes out of the "mouth" in the end times, as deceptive claims and false miracles proliferate.
Getare ("Rock"): Points us to the true Rock—Jesus Christ (Deut 32:4, 1 Cor 10:4), our only Mediator (1 Tim 2:5).
5. The Spirit of Prophecy ConnectionEllen G. White consistently directed believers away from bowing to images or invoking saints, pointing solely to Christ as the only Mediator (The Great Controversy, p. 58).
6. Evangelize, Don't MockThe crowds seeking answers need truth, not ridicule. Like the Waldensians, our mission is to present the simple story of Jesus and lead hungry souls to the Lamb of God (John 1:29).
🔥 THE BOTTOM LINEWe are not waiting for Mary to appear on a wall. WE ARE WAITING FOR JESUS TO APPEAR IN THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN! (Rev 1:7, 1 Thess 4:16)

🇨🇳 CHINA: CHRISTIAN DETAINED FOR LISTENING TO THE BIBLE
A reported case from China raises a serious question for Christians everywhere:
What happens when listening to the Word of God becomes a reason for detention?
According to the report, a Christian identified as Brother AK was detained after authorities allegedly discovered that he was listening to the Bible through a USB device while travelling with his family.
His reported response was simple:
“Because I believe in Jesus, I was listening to the Bible through the USB.”
This should remind us of the precious privilege we have to read, hear, study and proclaim God's Word freely.
📖 “We ought to obey God rather than men.” — Acts 5:29
📖 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” — Romans 10:17
📖 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” — Psalm 119:105
Ellen G. White emphasized:
“If you would become acquainted with the Saviour, study the Holy Scriptures.” — Christ's Object Lessons
The prophetic lesson is not to sensationalize every headline, but to watch, pray and understand the principles of the great controversy.
Revelation points toward a final crisis involving worship, conscience, obedience and allegiance.
📖 “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” — Revelation 14:12
🔥 THE QUESTION FOR US
If we have freedom to own and study the Bible today, are we actually studying it?
If we can listen to God's Word without fear, are we listening?
If we can proclaim the gospel openly, are we proclaiming it?
The time to prepare is now.

AFRICA’S NEW MAP vs. GOD’S NEW EARTH 🌍 | The Sabbath Struggle, Ethiopia & the Coming Kingdom of God In this prophetic Bible study, Adventist Angels Watchman Radio examines the growing discussions surrounding Africa’s changing geopolitical landscape, Ethiopia, and the striking event recently reported in Kisii, where people gathered after an unusual visual phenomenon was interpreted by some as resembling the Virgin Mary. But beyond the images, political boundaries, religious movements, and earthly kingdoms lies a greater biblical question: What does the Bible say about the kingdom that is coming—and the world that God will ultimately create? We compare the changing maps and kingdoms of this world with the glorious promise of “a new heaven and a new earth” (Revelation 21:1). 🔥 KEY PROPHETIC THEMES 🌍 Africa and the changing world order 🇪🇹 Ethiopia and the biblical story of Africa 📍 The unusual event reported in Kisii ⚠️ Religious signs and spiritual discernment 📖 The Sabbath and the final conflict 👑 The kingdoms of this world vs. the Kingdom of God 🌎 The millennium and the destiny of this earth ✨ The New Jerusalem and the New Earth ⏳ Preparing for the soon coming of Jesus Christ 📖 SCRIPTURES FOR STUDY Daniel 2:44 — “The God of heaven shall set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed.” Revelation 14:6–12 — The everlasting gospel and the final call to worship the Creator. Revelation 20:4–6 — The thousand years. Revelation 21:1–5 — The new heaven, new earth, and God's promise to make all things new. Isaiah 65:17 — “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth.” 2 Peter 3:13 — “We, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.” Isaiah 58:13–14 — God's call concerning His holy Sabbath. ⚔️ THE CENTRAL QUESTION Nations may redraw borders. Political powers may rise and fall. Religious manifestations may attract crowds. But none of these earthly developments can establish God's everlasting kingdom. Our hope is not in a new political map. Our hope is in the soon-coming King. “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” — Revelation 11:15 🎙️ Adventist Angels Watchman Radio Ev.
