Today we celebrate America's independence from Britain, let's also celebrate independence from sin.
JOHN 8:31-36
31. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33. They answered Him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bandage to any man: how sayest Thou, Ye shall be made free?
34. Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36. If the Son therefore make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
BELIEVE AND REPENT, BE SET FREE FROM SIN, AND ENJOY ETERNITY WITH GOD IN HEAVEN!

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Carry your sword with you everyday, so as to be ready at anytime to pierce the hearts of those around you with the word of God. We are called to be soldiers of Christ.
MATTHEW 5:14-16
14. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.
LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE, CARRY YOUR SWORD, AND GLORIFY GOD THE FATHER! If you do this God will send people your way that need to hear His word, and are ready to be brought into the light.

LUKE 1:31,32
31. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call His name JESUS.
32. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David.
This shows God fulfilling a promise, God always fulfills His promises. We see a promise to his people in 2 CHRONICLES 7:14 and ROMANS 10:9
2 CHRONICLES 7:14
If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
ROMANS 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
YOU CAN LEAN ON GODS PROMISES, HE WILL FULFILL HIS PROMISES TO YOU AND ME, JUST LIKE HE DID WITH DAVID AND SO MANY OTHERS.

While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
I want to take a minute to praise the LORD. God is so mighty that He has changed my heart, my mind, and my life. I am weak and He is strong. I could not change myself I tried, many would tell you there was no hope for me ever being clean and sober, and without God they where right. The impossible however is very possible with God.
THANK YOU GOD FOR TURNING MY LIFE UPSIDE DOWN AND SHOWING ME THE DIRECTION I SHOULD BE GOING.
God is good, Jesus is king, and salvation is beautiful. THANK YOU LORD!

21. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
GALATIANS 3:11
But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, the just shall live by faith.
EPHESIANS 2:8,9
8. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9. Not of works, lest any man should boast.
There you have it, you are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. You can't work your way to Heaven, you can't buy your way in, you'll never be good enough to go on your own. THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY IN.
JOHN 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Fathe, but by Me.
If anyone says there's another way they are wrong. Tell them to show you in the Bible, and I guarantee you they can't. The Bible says there is one way, JESUS CHRIST!
